First Trailer for 'Dawn of the Planet of the Apes' and 'Mitt,' First TFiOS Poster

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes Trailer
Rise of the Planet of the Apes was a huge surprise hit back in 2011. It was an incredible reintroduction to the series, which really faltered the instant they decided to make a sequel to the original, and then just got progressively worse, climaxing in 2001's reboot from hell.
And now Dawn is here (I still think the name "dawn" should come before "rise" but whatever), and it looks fantastic.
From the looks of it, this sequel will have a very different feel from the first movie. Already the world is falling apart and humanity is faltering heavily. It looks way darker, both literally and figuratively. "Dark sic-fi" has become sort of a cliche, but here I think it is actually necessary and will work out well.

Also, it must be said, the CGI in Rise was amazing, but this looks even better. Sure, we only see a bit in the trailer, but it is truly fantastic. Look at those eyes, man.

Dawn will be out in theaters in July 2014.

Mitt Trailer
This documentary sounds lame on the surface. It follows Mitt Romney for the six years leading up to the 2012 election. Sounds boring and lame and too political-y and too Romney-y.
And yet, the trailer makes it look fascinating. From what I've read about it, it portrays Romney in a whole new light. Some people even said that if this film had come out in 2012, he may have won the election.
So now I want to see it badly.

Mitt will be released exclusively on Netflix on January 24.

The Fault in Our Stars Poster
The Fault in Our Stars is a very popular "young adult" book by the fantastic man named John Green. It is a rather awesome book, even though it falls into a genre which I typically do not like at all. (It's a teenage love story basically. It's more complicated than that, of course, and thats part of what makes it better than the rest of the genre... but I digress.)

So we don't have a trailer for the movie adaptation, which hits theaters on June 6, but we do have this first poster giving us our first look at how the story's two lovebirds will be portrayed. I must say I like it.
The tagline gives me pause, however. It's about two kids with cancer, and the tagline is, well, you'll see. It's a bit cheesy, but it does sort of fit the tone of the book in a way I don't know maybe I'll grow to like it.
We'll see.
