There's not a lot of scifi on TV right now. Possibly the best modern scifi show, Fringe, left us this year, leaving us with a gaping hole in our science fiction loving hearts. But TNT is here to save us, at least in the summer. The third season of Falling Skies is going strong right now, and they have now officially renewed the show for a fourth season to air next summer.
The fourth season will contain 10 episodes and, most likely, aliens of some kind. That's kind of the shows thing.
So far this season, "Falling Skies" is averaging 5.8 million viewers in Live+7 day and stands as basic cable's #1 scripted series with adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 for the summer-to-date. That's a lot of really specific successes, but successes none the less.
