Santorum Sees Mandela's Death as a Prime Opportunity to Bash ObamaCare

Just to prove that he's still an idiot, Rick Santorum has taken the time to point out the obvious connection between Nelson Mandela fighting apartheid and Rick Santorum fighting ObamaCare. There are several things wrong with this.

1. This one applies to Bill O'Reilly more than Santorum. It's not very nice to insult a nice man who recently died. Even if you disagree with his communist-y views, shouting that Mandela was a communist in the most derogatory way possible is just not nice and makes you look like a rude asshole. So, just, like, don't do it.
2. Rick Santorum, using a man's death as a way to launch into your own stupid political rhetoric is not very nice or repeatable. It is not a good way to honor anyone, and it makes you look like a heartless bastard. Sure, you actually are a heartless bastard, and worse, but you don't want everyone to know that, do you?
3. Rick Santorum.... do you realize what you are comparing here? You are comparing a system of racial segregation to a healthcare system. Whatever you think about ObamaCare, it's intentions are pure. ObamaCare is attempting to help people be healthier and live longer. Whether the Government has the right to do this is debatable and stuff, and you're certainly welcome to believe that it is wrong, but it's intention is good, undeniably1. Apartheid, on the other hand, is not good. Do you get that, Mr. Santorum? Not good. There is nothing about apartheid that is pure or good. It's intentions are cruel and evil and unfair and, yeah, just bad all around.
Making this comparison is similar to comparing a kid who tried to help an old lady who fell, a kid who then messed up and accidentally let go of her hand too early, sending her back to the ground with a painful thud, to a kid who is running around shouting the n-word and oppressing people based on race. The two are obviously not comparable, so saying that you disliking ObamaCare is a lot like Mandela fighting segregation and spending time in jail and such is both belittling Mandela's accomplishments, and raising your what you call "accomplishments" to a level that is totally not appropriate.

Rick Santorum, you are not Nelson Mandela. He is a better person than you in pretty much every way. He has accomplished more than you ever will. You are nothing compared to him. Also you're just sort of an idiot and I really dislike you. Please stop speaking in public, because you never fail to make me mad.

1. Well, unless we're talking about population control. A few less people being alive and healthy might be good for the whole exploding population thing.
