The Chart Apple Doesn't Want to Show You

Yesterday at Apple's big event, they showed this chart:


This chart makes Apple look very good. Up and to the right, that's always good. But what you don't really realize is that it's cumulative iPhone sales. Of course it's going up and to the right. It's impossible for it to do anything else, unless Apple invents some sort of anti-sale.
They didn't want to show the chart that really matters, quarterly sales:


That's not as impressive. In fact it reflects poorly on Apple, sales have been declining for three quarters, plus their fancy chart goes into the future, and the slope decreases, meaning they're not expecting a huge boost in sales. 
That's not as good Apple. Decreases are bad. Fix this.
