24 Minutes Worth of Cool Stuff to Watch This Weekend

While browsing the Internet, I always leave tabs with cool stuff open, and I noticed I have three tabs of just videos open, so I thought I would share them with you all.

How High Can We Build?
This fascinating video (10 minutes) talks about the history of tall buildings (and structures) and then discusses the future of buildings, including a possible space elevator extended thousands of miles into space. It may sound stupid, but whoever builds one first will have a huge advantage in the space world. Currently is costs about $11,000 a pound to send stuff up to space, but in a space elevator it will only be a couple hundred bucks. That's big savings.
Check out the video below.

Paperman
This mini-film (about six minutes) is from Disney, and features a love story, which isn't my favorite type of story, but in this case, it isn't terrible. What's really cool is the new animation the film uses. It "seamlessly merges computer-generated and hand-drawn animation techniques," and the result is really cool looking.
If you saw Wreck-It-Ralph in theater like I did, then you've probably already seen this video, but it just came out to the Internet a few days ago.

Launch Party: The Private Space Future
This mini-documentary (about 8 minutes) rom The Verge gives a facinating look into the privitization of the space world.
