HTC Droid DNA Review

7.7/10
Good Things
  • Screen is best in class
  • Thin and light design
  • Comes with Android 4.1 out of the box
Bad Things
  • Battery life is terrible
  • Occasional performance hiccups
  • Sense 4+ buries much of what is good in Android 4.1
This thing is the first 1080p phone in the US, with a whopping 440 odd pixels per inch. The screen is amazing, but the software running on it is laggy and fileld with some crapware. Does the screen and other good features make up for the relatively bad software? Check out the overview and overview video above, and the in depth video review below to find out.

  1. I got myself the Droid DNA a few days ago, and all of the features that you mentioned are brilliant. My favorite would have to be the screen. Shows on the 1080p display look amazing! I use the DISH Remote Access app on my phone to stream live TV through the Sling Adapter that’s connected to my receiver, and I can’t begin to say how clear the shows look on the display. The app really comes in handy when I can’t see my shows at home. One of my DISH coworkers also has a Droid DNA and we both agree that it’s the best phone to watch TV on.
