CNN's latest poll gives President Obama a 4% post-convention bounce and a 6% lead over Mitt Romney, with the usual caveats that convention bounces rarely last. Some more facts from the poll:
- 51% of probable voters say Obama's vision of the future is more optimistic, while 41% pick Romney's. Last week, 47% liked Romney's optimism and 39% preferred Obama's.
- Pre-convention, 45% said Romney's plan for the country would clearer, compared to 39% for Obama. Now those numbers are literally reversed.
- Obama's "favorable rating" hit 57%, his highest in two years. Romney's dipped from 53% to 48%.
