Where I Stand Politically (According to an Online Quiz)

I took a quiz recently about who I should side with for this election.
I expected to side mostly with the Republican Party, and I did.
75% of my views matched up with those of the Republican Party. Pretty much all of the percentage of my views that didn't match up with the GOP (25%, for the math illiterate.) are reasons why so many people hate the Grand Old Party.

The site I took the site on, listed the topics where my views did not match up. They were things such as gay marriage, women's rights, and science-y things (such as evolution), things many people feel strongly (one way or the other) about.
These kinds of things give the Republican Party a bad rap, as well as these things I talked about a couple months earlier.

But talks about some of the Republican Party's ales are for another time, here are some more stats from my quiz results:

  • 75% of my views match up with the GOP
  • 61% of my views match up with Libertarians
  • 57% of my views match up with the Green Party
  • 79% of my views match up with Ron Paul
  • 78% of my views match up with Mitt Romney
  • 89% of my views match up with Gary Johnson
  • Shockingly, I side with Obama on science issues
  • Thankfully, I side with Michelle Bachman on no major issues
  • I side with Ron Paul on economic and foreign issues
  • I side with Gary Johnson on immigration and healthcare issues
  • I side with Mitt Romney on environmental and domestic policy issues.
