The day has come. Microsoft has finally announced a tablet (after much mystery) It's called the Surface. It has some pretty cool features. Here's a breakdown of the major ones:
- 10.6 Inch Screen.
- There will be two versions.
- One running Intel's 22nm Ivy Bridge chips running Windows 8.
- Another with an ARM chip running Windows RT. (A mobile-optimized version of Windows)

- Netflix on Windows 8 app was announced
- Built in kickstand: The back of the tablet folds out and turns into a kickstand. Its actually pretty cool. Check it out in the picture below.
- Touch Cover: It's much like a smart cover for the iPad, except it has a full touch keyboard built into it. This means you can set it up like the picture below, and use it like a laptop. It's only 3mm thick, which is awesome. A trackpad is also included. Another cool feature: If you attach a blue cover, the background on the screen turns blue. Same for all other colors as well.
- Type Cover: It's basically the touch cover, with actual keys. A trackpad is also included. Same color changing feature is included with this too. Check it out in pictures below:
