McDonald's Opens Super-Size Site at Olympics

(NEWSER) – Spectators at the Olympics may get inspired by the athletes' fitness, but they'll also have all the Big Macs and fries they'd like within reach. The chain is opening its biggest restaurant in the world in London's Olympic Park, though it will be dismantled (and mostly recycled) after six weeks, reports the Guardian.

The chain, a longtime Games sponsor, isn't messing around: Its record-setting restaurant will be able to seat 1,500 diners and expects to serve 14,000 people daily, notes the AP.
