The Wii 2?

The Wii 2 may be just around the corner. THe blogosphere has been buzzing with reports that the Wii 2 is coming this June at E3, the big gaming convention. The Wii 2 will likely have better graphics, or many serious gamers will be very mad. The Wii runs on nearly the same graphics processor as the DS, the portable counterpart of the Wii, which means the Wii has terrible graphics. I don't know what else they could add to it to make it hot like the original Wii once was. As PCMAg says:

Targeting casual gamers with its novel motion sensor technology, the Wii was once the hottest console in the U.S. but has seen its popularity dip considerably as newer motion sensor technology, like the Kinect for Xbox 360, launched. In February Wedbush analyst Michael Pachter said Wii sales dropped 31.5 percent in January (usually a big month for console purchases), more than rivals Sony and Microsoft. It's a far cry from the time PCMag editor called the Nintendo Wii the Best Product Ever.
